Srinagar, August 31 – 

Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Mr. Masaud Samoon retired from service today after serving 32 years in various capacities in the Government.

 

            Mr. Samoon was given an affectionate and warm farewell by the officers and officials of Divisional Commissioner today. The speakers on this occasion Mohammed Amin Bhat Addl Commissioner, Mr GA Gulzar Honorary Secretary Regional Red Cross Society, Mr Aamir Ali OSD, Mr. Nasir Naqash Asst Commissioner, Mr Altaf Hussain Section Officer accoladed the services of Mr. Masaud Samoon rendered by him during his tenure as Divisional Commissioner Kashmir. They said Mr. Samoon always extended helping hand to all those who came to see him for redressing of their grievances. Mr Masaud Samoon has been appointed as Member J&K Public Service Commission.
