REHABILITATION OF MILITANCY HIT VICTIMS

 The J & K rehabilitation council has been established to help the families of the victims of militancy including the families of the killed militants themselves. The assistance is provided in the form of family pensions ,re-marraige of the widows , scholarships for the children , vocational training ,provision of artificial limbs and hearing aids etc, medical treatment. For full information and details the interested parties may contact the Executive Director of the council or the District Social Welfare Officers of the concerned districts. The Executive Director has his/her office in the new Secretariate at Srinagar and Jammu.
