SERVICES

  The extra-gratia relief is being sanctioned by the Deputy Commissioner concerned to the extent of amount as shown against each below;

PARTICULAR OF RELIEF ADMISSIBLE
  1. Ex-gratia payment to the Rs. 25,000/- (to the next of kins of each next of kins of the deceased deceased without categorization)

  2. Ex-gratia payment for loss of limb Rs. 10,000/- (per person) or both eyes

  3. Fully damaged houses Rs.5,000/- (For full damaged houses or 50% of loss which every is less) and Rs.500/- for clothing and utensils

  These cases are being prepared by the concerned Tehsildars after obtaining the necessary information/documents viz copy of F.I.R and report of sub-ordinate field agency in respect of factual position of the incident and assessment of loss, names and no of Nook's of the deceased/injured persons.

   The sanctioning authority is Deputy Commissioner of the each District as the funds are being placed at the disposal of the Deputy Commissioner on this account. The funds under major head: 2245 are being released in this context by the Financial Commissioner (Rev.) on the recommendation of the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir.
