Div. Com inaugurates Pahalgam snow festival

  Pahalgam, January 30:-Divisional commissioner Kashmir Dr Asgar samoon inaugurated two days snow festival at pahalgam today.

The Director Tourism Mr Farooq shah, DC Anantnag Mr S JaiPal Singh was also present the occasion .Besides participants of winter sports a large number of people and tourists were present on the occasion.

Addressing on the occasion Dr Samoon appreciated tourism department for organising winter sports for the first time in pahalgam .He said winter sports will positively promote the tourism in pahalgam which is famous world over. He appealed the media to highlight these winter sports on national and international level to attract more and more tourist to valley. He said that winter sport lovers would be happy to know that winter sports have been commenced in pahalgam also.

 The Director tourism, Farooq Shah said that department is organising spring festival at pahalgam as most of the tourists visit this health resort.
